We've scoured the gullies off Birling Gap with metal detectors, searching for shipwreck artifacts, yet we haven't even found a single ship's nail! Although we haven't explored a vast area, it's still surprising given the number of wrecks nearby. Clearly, we're searching in the wrong gullies. More dives are necessary. We weren't specifically searching for remains of the Filoselle; I just like the story..
